ALL SUPPLIES ARE LISTED BELOW!!

My card features PRODUCTS from Pear Blossom Press and PRODUCTS from Picket Fence Studios.  I used the super fun Twinkle Lights from Pear Blossom Press with the Sugar & Calorie Free Stamp and Die Set from Picket Fence Studios.

I began by creating my background panel using the What’s Your Sign Stencil and Cherry Blossom Luxe Paper Glaze from Picket Fence Studios.I love this glittery paste. It is like butter and so gorgeous.I let this dry completely then spattered on some Distress Mica Stain in Winterberry and Frozen Fog.

I heat embossed the cake image from the Sugar & Calorie Free Stamp Set using silver embossing powder.I did this on some Bristol Smooth Cardstock as this is my preferred cardstock when I use Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.I colored my image using Zigs as follows: Oatmeal & Blender (cake), Mid Brown & Blender (frosting), Cool Gray 1 & Light Gray (whipped cream), Wine Red & Light Carmine (strawberries), Light Green (strawberry tops), Haze Blue (Glass), Sugared Almond Pink (hearts), and Peach Pink & Blender (cake stand). I then die cut this out using the coordinating dies.

I die cut a stitched circle and used a Pint Size Paper Pouncer to add a little It’s a Girl Catherine Pooler Ink around the edges of the circle.I adhered the cake directly to the center of this circle.

After deciding where I wanted my main image I punched small holes in three stars.Turning over the panel, I used clear tape to place the Twinkle Lights behind each hole.I added the battery to the Twinkle Light system and made sure everything looked as I wanted it.I then added World’s Greatest Foam Tape to the back of the panel placing it close to the battery back to keep it in place.

After using the It’s a Girl ink direct to paper around the edges of an A2 cardstock panel, I wrapped some Silver DMC Grande Floss around the bottom part of the background panel. Then I removed the release paper from the World’s Greatest Foam Tape on my background panel and placed it on the pink edged panel.I then used thin foam squares and placed the circle with the cake image on the panel.

Next, I heat embossed push from the Pear Blossom Press PB Press Stamp and Die Bundle using silver embossing powder.I then die cut this with a small heart and used a Pint Sized Paper Pouncer to color the heart with It’s a Girl ink.I then placed this directly over the Twinkle Light button, which I had marked with a pencil when I added the World’s Greatest Foam Tape.

Next, I heat embossed a sentiment from the Sugar & Calorie Free Stamp Set using black pigment ink and clear embossing powder.I then created a sub sentiment from the same stamp set using silver embossing powder. The Sugar & Calorie Free Stamp Set has coordinating dies for both of these sentiments.I love when stamp sets have dies for sentiments. After I die cut the sentiments, I used a black alcohol marker around the edges of the the sentiments to help them stand out more. I used foam squares to pop the sentiments up on my panel.

To finish the card, I grabbed the white hearts from the Spring Hearts Embellishments from Picket Fence Studios.I scattered these around the panel.Lastly, I adhered this to a top folding heavy weight card base.

I hop you are enjoying our blog hop and all the awesome inspiration from the talented creators.Below is the hop lineup to make it easier for you to hop along with us.Thank you so much for stopping by and have fun hopping!
