Funny thing is I don’t drink coffee. I do love tea and have at least one cup a day. During the cooler winter months, hot cocoa is a nice treat. My husband, however, is a big coffee fan.

I created a background panel for my card using Gathered Twigs Spray Stain, Walnut Stain Oxide Spray and Fallen Acorn Mica Spray Stain. Backgrounds are a favorite of mine and I use sprays a lot when creating them. After I got the depth I wanted from my sprays, I stamped the Coffee Background stamp with black ink. I stamped this image three times to get a dark image.

Using the Travel Cup Die Set, I die cut my cup panel with white cardstock, the lid with White Cosmo Pearl cardstock and the cup wrap with some kraft cardstock. I pulled out my very old paper corrugating tool and used it on the kraft piece. I used Latte ink and stamped on the cup portion. I then adhered these pieces together to create my travel mug.

I cut down my background panel to 3 3/4 x 5″ then I wrapped some ribbon from my stash around it. Using Fun Foam and Score Tape I popped up this panel on an A2 piece of kraft cardstock.

After stamping the sentiment in Mocha and the sub sentiment in Cappuccino, I used the coordinating dies to cut the sentiment out. I cut two extra, and stacked those up for dimension. I used my paper trimmer to cut my sub sentiment.

I adhered my mug in place with foam squares and my sentiments with liquid adhesive. I added some clay hearts to the mug and around my card for added interest.
