I am loving Altenew’s new Zero Waste Cover Dies. This Zero Waste Leaf Pattern Cover Die has so many possibilities. All supplies used are listed and linked at the bottom of this post!!

To stack 3 layers of the Zero Waste Leaf Pattern Cover Die, I began by carefully removing my cover plate from my die cut plates after running it through my die cut machine. I then did my best to keep everything in place and removed it from the cover die. I used Satin Masking Tape to hold all the pieces together. I flipped this panel over and added liquid adhesive only on the leaf patterns and all the little dots on the back of this panel. I adhered this to a piece of 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ cardstock. I let this dry then carefully removed the masking tape and the negative piece that I did not glue down. I used the negative piece to keep everything exactly as it was on the die. I then stacked 2 more layers of the the leaves and dots using liquid adhesive.

I cut another piece of white cardstock with the cover die. I used Mini Blending Brushes and Dew Drops, Cloudy Sky, and Iceberg Crisp Dye Inks to color a few of the large leaves and several dots.

After heat embossing a sentiment from the Magnolia and Blooms Stamp set with white embossing powder on black cardstock, I used foam tape to pop this over the white leaves, then tucked my three ink blended leaves under the sentiment strip.

I then randomly sprinkled several of the ink blended dots in different sizes around the card. I used some Glossy Accents on those dots to add some interest and shine. I set this aside to dry completely before adhering this to a top fold heavy weight card base.

Thank for stopping by today! Enjoy the blog hop and I hope you are inspired to check out this NEW RELEASE from Altenew.
