I created the background using one of my favorite techniques of ink blending and then gently spraying with ink spray. I used a Distress Spray Stain for this card. But I use several different types of ink sprays for this technique. I love the texture this technique adds to any project.
The large stamp was heat embossed using the gorgeous Gold Pearl Embossing Powder from WOW. This is such a beautiful embossing powder. I also double heat embossed the sentiment using this embossing powder. Double heat embossing adds a smoothness to images.
I am loving the beautiful Pawsitively Saturated Inks from Simon Says Stamp and I used those to ink blend my large stamped image using the layering stencils in the kit. You will see me use several different types of blending brushes in the video.
The kit comes with one large die to cut out all the images in the large stamp and you have more than plenty of images to create a wonderful bunch around a sentiment like I did. Popping some images up with foam squares and adhering others directly to the background panel add dimension and texture to a card.
