Twinkling Stocking Card – Pear Blossom Press

Hello Crafty Friends! I am so excited to share today’s card with you. I used the amazing Twinkle Lights from Pear Blossom Press with some Papertrey Ink products. I love how this card turned out. If you came here from the Pear Blossom Press Blog, Welcome! Please make sure to sign up to receive notifications when I put up a new blog post.

ALL SUPPLIES LISTED BELOW!

  • Use the Ink Smooshing technique to color all the part of the stocking and the stocking stuffers. I used Lumberjack Plaid Distress Ink for the main part of the stocking, holly berries and part of the candy cane, Lost Show Distress Ink for the cuff, toe, and heel of the stocking, Kitsch Flamingo Distress Ink for the present, Rustic Wilderness Distress Ink for the holly branch, Twisted Citron Distress Ink for the bow, Black Soot Distress Ink for the Snowman’s hat.
  • Color snowman’s nose, buttons, and arms with Alcohol Markers.
  • Adhere the stocking, snowman, present, candy cane, and holly branch together.
  • Wrap twine around stocking and tie into a bow.
  • Then adhere the snowman to the front of the stocking and glue the remaining images to the back of the stocking.
  • Adhere stocking to the card panel.
  • Add white spatter over entire panel and stocking.
  • Die cut script Ho Ho Ho from the This is Big Sentiments: Ho Ho Ho from Papertrey Ink using Glossy Black cardstock (mine was from my stash).
  • Determine were to place holes for the Twinkle Lights. I wanted mine to be behind the “O’s” in the main sentiment. Use a hole punch to punch holes.

I am slowly getting my Christmas cards done. Whoever receives this one, will love the Twinkle Lights as it makes the card a little extra special. Make sure to check out the Pear Blossom Press Blog as there is a ton of inspiration for you.

Thanks for stopping by and I will see you next time.

Happy crafting! April
