Hello crafty friends! Today I use a background panel and some left over pieces from my Paper Glaze video (watch here) from a month ago. This panel was one of my favorites from the video and I am so happy with how this winter birthday card turned out.
This card gives me all the winter vibes and I love it. I love using panels that I have created and have set aside for later. Those don’t get used as much as they should but this one is so pretty and pictures do not give the paper glaze justice.
I also had some scrap pieces from my previous cards to die cut Happy Birthday. The paper glaze is stunning on word dies. I have plans to make a bunch of these. I did stack the Happy Birthday on 3 white die cuts to add dimension.
The new velvet luxury cardstock from Simon Says Stamp is amazing and I used it to die cut snowflakes for this card. It cuts beautifully and is super easy to work with. I used liquid adhesive to adhere the snowflakes to the background panel.
A sentiment was all that was needed to finish this panel off before adhering to a top fold heavy weight card base.
