Lindy’s Magical Grit Paste Technique with Sweet N Sassy Stamps

Hello crafty friends!! I am so excited to be sharing some of my favorite products with you today. I have a reel on Instagram showing this technique, so jump on over and check it out. I love Lindy’s Gang Magicals Powders. They are so fun and can be used so many ways.

Today I am sharing one of my favorite ways to use them which is mixed with a paste. I use Distress Grit Paste for today’s card but most pastes can be used. I suggest using a white opaque paste to get great results.

** ALL SUPPLIES ARE LISTED BELOW!!

I mixed my pigment, Cotton Candy Pink, with some grit paste. Then I spread this over the Mixed Up Stencil onto a piece of heavy weight card stock using a palette knife. Let this dry.

I used some stamp packaging to make a full front shaker card. I used flat sequins from my stash to fill my shaker.

I ink blended a stamped and embossed butterfly from the Courage Dear Heart Stamp Set. I used the coordinating Layering Stencils to color it. This butterfly was then die cut.

I also stamped and embossed a sentiment from the Happy Everything Sentiment Strips Stamp Set. This was then die cut using the Featured Sentiments Die Set.

I added the butterfly with some small foam squares to the front of the shaker then added the sentiment below that.

This was then mounted onto a top fold heavy weight card base. Be sure to use a strong adhesive for this!

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope this inspires you to see how many different ways you can use some of your favorite products.
