Let's Celebrate Birthday Card - Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps

Hi Crafty Friends!I am excited to have my refreshed blog up and going!I hope you enjoy the new look.Today, I have a fun birthday card using the NEW Let’s Celebrate Stamp Set and Dies from Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps!I don’t grab purple often but love it on this fun card.

ALL SUPPLIES ARE LISTED BELOW!

I created a background using the Bubbles Stencil along with some Distress Texture Paste in Black Opaque.This is a beautiful paste.Make sure to wash your stencil and palette knife quickly as the paste dries fast.I set this aside to dry, then used the NEW Stitched Rectangle Die Set to cut out a panel from it.Using some Mica Stain Spray (Frozen Fog), I gently sprayed some on my panel.Then I used Hocus Pocus Mica Stain Spray and spattered some on using a paint brush.These methods give two different looks.

To create my purple panel, I used Wilted Violet Distress Ink and a Paper Pouncer.The Paper Pouncers lay down a lot of pigment quickly.

After stamping my images from the Let’s Celebrate Stamp Set with alcohol friendly ink, I colored these images using Olo Markers (C-G 1, 3, V 2.3, 2.4, 2.6, 2.7). I used the coordinating dies to cut the images out.

I stamped my sentiments using Distress Oxide in Wilted Violet and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

I grabbed some white ribbon from my stash and wrapped it around my purple panel.I popped the stenciled panel up with fun foam and score tape.I have these panels premade and use these on larger images I want to pop up.

Lastly, I added my sentiment and popped up my colored images around it.This was all adhered to a top folding heavy weight card base.
