Hi Crafty Friends!! I have a fun Reel on Instagram with this great citrus card. I fell in love with the Orange Blossom Die set from Altenew the moment I saw it. I have so many ideas for this awesome set.
**ALL SUPPLIES LISTED BELOW!**
I created my background by ink blending a white panel of cardstock using Seafoam and Surf ink from Simon Says Stamp and the Altenew Large Blending Tool. This tool makes blending so much easier. I love to use sprays to add a little splatter to panels. I used Distress Spray in Salvaged Patina for this background. Then I used the wonky frame from the Mod Heart Die Set to cut my background panel.
I prefer to use ink pads or other color mediums to color my die cuts with versus using colored card stock. So I die cut all my images from heavy weight white cardstock then used Paper Pouncers from Picket Fence Studios to color my images. I love the pouncers for this technique and to use with stencils.
I adhered the background panel to a heavy weight top folding cardbase then arranged my lemons and limes in two opposite corners. For a sentiment I die cut Thank You 3 times from Jet Black cardstock and adhered them together for dimension. I love the font of the Encouraged Sentiments Die Set. So Fun!! I adhered this to the center of my card.
For a little more interest, I added a few of the Pocket Full of Sunshine Enamel Dots. These worked perfect on this card.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you go check out my Instagram Reel. This card screams summer to me and I hope it inspires you to make some fun summer projects. See you next time!!
