Ink N’ Splatter and Pear Blossom Press Blog Hop

I used a One Light from Pear Blossom Press and the super cute Winter Holiday Penguins Stamp Set and Winter Blues Paper Pack from Ink N’ Splatter.

• Cut 4×5.25″ panel from a piece of the Winter Blues Paper Pack.
• Stamp image from Winter Holiday Penguins Stamp Set on Hammermill Cardstock (my favorite when coloring with Olo Markers) with Intense Black Ink.
• Color image using Olo Markers. Penguin and Hat Trim: C-G 9, C-G 7, C-G 5, C-G 1, C-G 0 Beak and Feet: O 2.4, O 2.2 Heart and Scarf Stripes: R 0.6, R 0.5 R 0.4 Scarf Stripes and Scarf: B 0.5, B 0.3, B 0.2
• Die cut image with circle die.

• Heat emboss sentiment from Winter Holiday Penguins Stamp Set with black ink and clear embossing powder. Trim into a sentiment strip.
• Color strip of white cardstock with R 0.6 Olo Marker to create layering piece for sentiment strip. Adhere sentiment strip to this layering piece.
• Adhere sentiment directly to the background panel.
• Determine where the penguins will be placed then die cut a smaller circle in the background panel using a circle die.
• Adhere penguin circle directly over the smaller circle on the background panel.
• Cut 4 lengths of silver floss (from stash) and tie around background panel above sentiment strip. Tie into a bow.

• Place One Light so the light is directly under the heart the two penguins are holding. Hold in place with some double sided tape then add World’s Greatest Foam Tape around light and the back of the card. I used the One Light from the Halo Light Combo Pack as it fit my card better. Pear Blossom Press has two One Lights to choose from. You can get a longer skinny version in the Halo Light Combo Pack or the more blocky original One Light.

• Remove release paper from World’s Greatest Foam Tape and adhere to a white heavy weight card base.
• Lastly, stamp ‘press here’ from the PB Press Stamp and Die Bundle with black ink then use coordinating circle die to die cut. Place above the button for the one light.
