I created a fun background panel using the Silver Lining Fresh Dye Ink.I went direct to paper with the pad.I ran it softly directly over an A2 piece of Neenah 110 lb. cardstock.The lighter hand you use when doing the technique the less ink will show on your panel.So you can get as much ink as you want on your panel. I use swipes all the way across the panel, not circles, to get this look.
Using my Stampwheel to hold a panel of white cardstock and stencils in place, I ink blended my images using Mini Blending Brushes and Fresh Dye Inks (Tickled Pink, Mid Yellow, Lemonade Stand, and Silver Lining).I did use only Tickled Pink Fresh Dye Ink for the flower petals.I just used a lighter hand when blending some of the petals and a heavy hand with others to give a variation.
This was then ran through a die cut machine with the large die in the set that cuts all the images at once.Once I had my flowers and leaves in place, I used Foam Tape to pop some of the flowers up and adhered everything else with liquid glue.
Then, I stamped my sentiment with Obsidian Black Pigment Ink using the Stampwheel.Yes, it worked just fine even with some images popped up.
I added a few Rock Collection Enamel Dots near the flowers.Then, adhered this to a top folding heavy weight card base using liquid glue.
I love the monochromatic look of the leaves and the background panel.This really makes the flowers the star, especially with the Tickled Pink Fresh Dye Ink.I hope you enjoyed this card and make sure to check out the Dynamic Duo subscription from Altenew.Thanks for stopping by and I will see you next time.
