Betterpress Ink Blended Card – Spellbinders

Hi crafty friends! I have a new video up on YouTube. I took several months off and am back with more videos. I am trying a new format for my videos that I like so much better. You will find that I talk as I create instead of going back and doing a voice over. So there are some bumps in the video as I figure this new style out. However, I love this style and it totally fits me. I am glad to be back so look for more videos!

I got the new Betterpress from Spellbinders the other day and was so excited to finally have my hands on it. In my YouTube video you will see me use it for the first time. To say I am impressed is an understatement. It is a super simple system to use and the results were perfect the first time.

**ALL SUPPLIES ARE LISTED BELOW!!**

I used the Betterpress black ink on the So Grateful for You plate before running the system through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting Machine. I did chose the Porcelain cotton cardstock for this project. I then ink blended using Pawsitively Saturated Ink in Lemonade, Celery, Blush and Guava with the Altenew Large Blending Tool.

Then I cut this panel down to 4×5.25″ and wrapped twine from my stash around center of panel. After die cutting the Betterpress sentiment out, I popped the sentiment up over the twine in the center of this panel.

I placed fun foam with score tape on it on the back of this panel for dimension. I did leave a space for the twine so the panel laid flat. This was then adhered to a panel of Fog cardstock which was then adhered to a top folding heavy weight card base using liquid glue.

To finish my card, I used some pearls (Limeade and Creamsicle) from Pretty Pink Posh.

I fell in love with the Betterpress system after using it this first time. I found the ink blended beautifully on the cotton cardstock and I can’t wait to try different techniques. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you go check out my latest YouTube video. See you next time!!
