To help Altenew celebrate I used the Craft Your Life Project Kit: Delicate Garden for my card. I grabbed colors I don’t normally use and I love the combination!
I grabbed some grey cardstock and ran the embossing folder from the kit through my die cut machine twice to fill the background panel. Only place the top plate of your sandwich to the edge of your embossing folder the second time you run it through your machine. Also leave the first embossed image outside of the embossing folder. This will help to not flatten the first image you embossed. This is a great way to get more out of your embossing folders.
I heat embossed the large floral image using Platinum embossing powder. I used the layering stencils and Crisp Dye Inks ( Sea Breeze, Turquoise, Tide Blue, Fresh Lemon, Citrus Burst, Honey Drizzle, Industrial Diamond, and Silver Stone) to ink blend the image. This was then die cut with the coordinating dies.
I ink blended a piece of white cardstock with Tide Blue Crisp Dye Ink then die cut YOU from the Versatile Greetings Die Set. I stacked this on top of 3 other white YOUs for dimension. I layered this on a white shadow die cut. I stamped my sub sentiment and heat embossed it with Platinum Embossing Powder.
I die cut this with the Featured Sentiments Die Set. Before I put all my pieces on my background panel, I splattered it with black for some added interest.
After the black dried. I popped up the flower with Instant Dimension Foam Tape and added the YOU and my sub sentiment.
To finish my card I added several enamel dots from the Rock Collection Set. I added this to a heavy weight card base.
