Hello crafty friends! I need to get my alcohol inks out more often as they make amazing backgrounds and are just plain fun to work with. I grabbed some pinks to go with a wonderful trio of hearts die that is new to Kat Scrappiness. I also used some Christmas Sentiments and stretch them to use for Valentine’s Day. It is always nice to get more use out of our products. Make sure to check out my YouTube Video, here.
This cute little trio of hearts die that I use in the video (all products are listed below) would make great shaker cards as well. That is next on my list for this die. I love the stitched detail that this die has and that it has different sizes of hearts.
When working with alcohol inks make sure you work in a well ventilated area. I also suggest working on a glass surface as you can easily clean the alcohol ink off with rubbing alcohol. You can see the process of working with alcohol inks in the video.
Holographic cardstock can scratch easily so make sure to be careful if using a craft pick or the metal end of an embellishment wand to move small pieces into place like I did with the above card.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope this video inspires you to make a 2 for 1 background panel as well as helps you to stretch your supplies. You can watch my video, here.
